Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This website is run by Hakan Ergin, a sole proprietorship trading as FOV Studio (“FOV”, “we”, “us”), registered with the Çanakkale Tax Office, at Boğazkent Mah. Seyit Onbaşı Cad. For anything related to your data, email hakan@fovstudio.dev.
If you are in Türkiye, our notice under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) is on the KVKK Aydınlatma Metni page. It covers the same processing in the form that law requires.
2. What we collect
| Data | Where it comes from | Why we use it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your name, email address, and what you write to us, including attachments | Emails you send us | To reply to you and, if you ask, prepare a proposal | Steps before entering into a contract at your request; our legitimate interest in answering enquiries |
| IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time | Automatically, when your browser loads the site | To deliver the pages, keep the site secure and fix errors | Our legitimate interest in running a secure website |
We do not ask for sensitive data (health, religion, biometrics and similar). Please do not send it to us.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website has no forms, does not set cookies itself and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our hosting provider Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (cf_clearance) only if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated bot. We do not use it for any other purpose. If any of this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it before any non-essential cookie is set.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the site and our email, and only as far as they need it:
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States, global network) hosts and delivers the site and processes the technical data listed above.
- Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation B.V., European Union data centre) stores our email correspondence.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
These providers process data outside Türkiye. Proceedings are underway to carry out the transfer subject to appropriate safeguards pursuant to Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
5. How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for up to 2 years after our last contact, then deleted. We do not keep our own access logs of site visits; our hosting provider processes the technical data for as long as it needs to run the service.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you whether we process your data, and give you a copy;
- explain why we process it and who we have shared it with;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete it, or stop using it, when there is no longer a reason to keep it;
- tell the people we shared it with about a correction or deletion;
- object to a decision made about you solely by automated means;
- compensate you for damage caused by unlawful processing.
If you are in the EU or UK you can also ask to move your data to another service (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Email hakan@fovstudio.dev to use these rights. We reply within 30 days, free of charge. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr) or, in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
7. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, access to our inboxes and tools is limited to the people who need it and protected with two-factor authentication, and we only keep data for as long as stated above.
8. Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
